A Counter to Monitor the Greenway
In collaboration with the University of Milan
As part of a monitoring and enhancement project for the Greenway Voghera–Varzi, an automatic counting device has been installed in Godiasco in partnership with the University of Milan.
Strategically positioned along the trail, the counter records in real time the number of pedestrians and cyclists passing by. This data helps track year-round usage of the greenway, providing valuable insights into visitor flows.
Thanks to cutting-edge technology by Eco-Counter and the scientific oversight of the university’s research team, the project ensures continuous and reliable monitoring. The collected data supports future development planning, promotes sustainable mobility, and helps protect the local environment.
